The FJD GM22S is a walk-behind electric greens mower. An operator walks behind it and guides it across the turf, exactly as with a conventional greens mower, while a 48 V electric drive and a 2 kWh battery take the place of a petrol engine. It cuts a 559 mm swath, weighs 115 kg with its battery and is built for golf greens, sports fields and fine private lawns where a close, even finish matters.
The finish comes from the cutting heads. They float in four directions — 8° front to rear and 4° left to right — so the cut follows the contours of a green instead of scalping its high points. The GM22S is specified with 8, 11 or 14 blades and three cutting-height ranges (2–20 mm, 3–25 mm and 5–25 mm); the configuration that suits your turf and target height of cut is agreed with the quotation. Clippings go into a 20 L grass catcher.
Settings live on a 5-inch touchscreen. Enter the cutting height and the mower recommends a matching blade speed and mowing frequency; speed, mowing frequency and blade sharpening can all be changed on the screen.
